G20保健大臣会合が岡山市で開かれる機会をとらえ、2019年10月18日に岡山市で国連人口基金(UNFPA)アジア太平洋地域事務所、外務省、岡山大学、世界保健機関(WHO)、European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies、ASEM Global Ageing Centerと共催でライフ・サイクル・アプローチに焦点を当てたサイドイベントを開催いたします。
JAGES (Japan Agency for Gerontological Evaluation Study) will co-host the side event of the G20 Health Minister’s Meeting on Life-Cycle/Course Approach for healthy and active ageing with Asia and pacific Regional Office of UNFPA, WHO, Ministry of Foreign Affair (Japan), Okayama University, European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies, and ASEM Global Ageing Center, and supported by the Promotion Council for Support of G20 Health Minister’s Meeting.
JAGES has conducted research with the aim to provide evidence for healthy and active ageing more than 20 years, and we found evidence, which factors related to life-cycle/course, such as education, economy during childhood, occupation, affect the health of older adults. This suggests that we should focus not only on health after getting older, but also a variety of factors of life-cycle/course for healthy and active ageing.
In this event, experts from G20 countries share their experience and discuss how to realize the sustainable ageing society. >61552 UNJapan flyerdraft 1h.pdf
